Here’s what families are saying about working with me…

“Ms. Weiss began working with my son, Kingston, in the second semester of 9th grade—a time of major transition. With her steady support, he gained the tools to stay organized, manage his workload, and keep up with deadlines. She helped him grow personally—encouraging him to advocate for himself and build confidence in his voice. Over the years, Ms. Weiss also encouraged him to advocate for himself—a big step for someone shy like King. With her guidance, his confidence and communication skills grew.  We’re deeply grateful for the role she’s played in his growth; both as a student and as a young person. I wholeheartedly recommend Ms. Weiss to any family seeking thoughtful, reliable, and empowering support for their child.” - KL

“I write this letter to express to you how great Ann Weiss is when it comes to administering guidance to our youth and young adult population assuring that they are successful in their academic endeavors. Ann is both thorough and skilled when it comes to assisting students in organizational structure, task prioritization, logical thinking, and time management aligning their capabilities with expectancies.

My son is a graduate of Minnehaha Academy which is known for its rigorous curriculum. He also struggles with Attention Deficit Hyper Disorder which has proven itself to be a learning disability causing difficulty in focus and organization in everyday life physically and mentally. Ann came into our lives right at a time when we thought we were going to have to remove our son from school because he was falling behind. From grades 10th through 12th she worked with our son extensively developing trust, administering academic support, helping him sort out priority assignments to meet deadlines, assisting him with time management, and working as a go-between and advocate on my behalf for his re-testing processes and make-up assignments. Ms. Weiss formulated weekly check-ins with our son to not only cover all the above but to be a listening ear succeeding in understanding and identifying what was needed for him to be successful in accomplishing the work. Because he is a minor, Ann had monthly check-ins with me as well giving me updates and discussing any concerns I may have had. Ann Weiss has been a true blessing and a pillar to our son graduating as a Minnehaha Alumni. He now has confidence, gained organizational skills, and learned to advocate for what makes him a better learner. She has guided and equipped him with both study and life skills which is much needed for our young adult population, especially those with learning challenges. Our family has established a trustworthy and reliable relationship with Ms. Weiss and hope to use her services as he begins his college career.” - LJ
